Pitline
Terms
These terms cover city desks, resident reports, crew accounts, and contractor job links on Pitline.

The service
Pitline is software for public-works intake and dispatch. It is not a 911 system, a guarantee that a street will be repaired, or a substitute for emergency services. Cities decide how they staff tickets. Pitline operates the product; the city operates the work.
Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep credentials to yourself. City owners and managers are responsible for who they invite, which contractors they ping, and what those people can see. If you open a city desk you represent that you are authorized to run intake for that organization.
Content you submit
Reports, photos, short video, comments, and contractor notes must be yours to share. Do not upload someone else's private property, illegal content, or anything meant to harass. You grant Pitline a license to store, display, and process that content so the city can dispatch work. City staff can see reports filed against their organization. Public track pages show limited status for a ticket number. Contractor job links show the job they were handed.
Contractors
Outside crews do not get Pitline logins. A job link is an unguessable URL the city sends by email, text, or copy. Anyone who has the link can update that job. Cities must treat those links like a work order, not a public posting.
Billing
Paid plans are billed by Stripe: Crew $199/month, City $499/month, or pay as you go at $29/month plus $0.90 per extra ticket after the included allotment. Night shift is free with a hard ticket cap. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method on file. Downgrades and cancellations are handled in the Stripe billing portal. Canceled paid organizations stay recoverable for 120 days, then data is deleted.
Acceptable use
Do not probe other cities' data, scrape the service, abuse duplicate-report checks, or use Pitline to send spam through contractor pings. We can suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.
As-is
The service is provided as-is, without warranties that a map pin, notification, or contractor ping will arrive or that a repair will happen. To the extent the law allows, Pitline is not liable for street conditions, missed SLAs the city sets, or decisions a crew or contractor makes in the field.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after a posted update means you accept the new terms. Privacy details live on the Privacy page. Security practices live on the Security page.
